I believe that our capacity for kindness is a reflection of our own inner state. When we're feeling joyful and content, it's easy to share that positivity with others. But when we're struggling, it can be a challenge to extend kindness. This story reminds me of the importance of cultivating inner peace and well-being, not just for ourselves, but for the sake of those we encounter.
I'm really excited to have found a whole substack just devoted to kindness. Found you from Paolo's recommendation. I'm looking forward to reading more!
I love this post Nancy, a wonderful reminder that Kindness doesn’t have to take a lot of effort or energy or time and yet can have deep and lasting impact on the recipient. The world is filled with unkind thoughts and actions these days. And I often hear someone say, “But what can I do?” This. This is what I can, you can, we can, do. Thank you!
Appreciated this—Your work and time to give something back, Your ability to share your observation. What a vulnerable time- sick and needing help. I'm grateful to see the genuine kindness shared that really is the most powerful kind of love in action!

Wonderful post! Bless that lady ♥ 'People may not recall what you said but they will always remember how you made them feel'
Yes indeed Nina! That phrase came to my mind too as I watched her. 💖

I absolutely agree Lou! If we each did just a little, the results would be incredibly huge! ❤️
